* Hold your breath as the Southwest Airlines agent connects you. Request that your reservation be cancelled using your six-digit confirmation number.
* If your flight reservation has a refundable balance, the agent will determine it. The representative will inform the traveller of the amount of money that is entitled for a refund.
* Passengers can only get a refund on the unused portion of their ticket under Southwest's flight cancellation policy.
* Passengers with refundable balances can get a Southwest ticket cancellation refund in the original form of payment or convert the amount into future travel money.
* To cancel their reservation, the customer must pay a non-refundable Southwest cancellation charge.
* After the Southwest Flight Cancellation request is completed, the refund will be sent in 7-10 business days to the original mode of payment.
